Forbidden City in-depth Tour
You'll visit the famous Tiananmen Square which is the largest public square in the world where you can take photos in front of the famous Chairman Mao's portrait. Your tour guide will introduce the history and some interesting stories about Tiananmen Square.

If you like you can join the queue going to Chairman Mao's Mausoleum.Offering flowers,standing 3 meters away from the crystal coffin and paying respect to his body.

Later you'll go through the middle gate of Tiananmen Square where you'll see a huge red gate that is the Forbidden City also the highlights of today. The Forbidden City was Chinese imperial palace from the mid of the Ming Dynasty to the ending of the Qing Dynasty which there were 24 emperors lived here. Forbidden City is situated in the midst of Beijing city. It is the palace of the Emperor for nearly six hundred years, also as the ceremony and policy-making center of Chinese authorities. The Forbidden City is rectangular in shape. It is 960 meters long and 750 meters wide. It holds 8707.5 rooms and was built Under Ming Emperor,from1406 till 1420. It took fourteen years to construct the Forbidden City. The red and yellow applied upon the palace walls and roofs.Red symbolizes happiness, good luck and wealthiest. Yellow represents power.

Lunch won't be like emperor's feast-more than 60 dishes a meal.You will enjoy the authentic food in a local reastaurant near Forbidden City.
After lunch, you need some excercise for digestion climbing up Jingshan Hill and have a bird's eye view of Forbidden City and Beijing.


The tour will finish after visiting Jingshan Park. Your driver and guide will drive you back hotel.
